I can tell academics are a high priority at Syracuse. All the pool tables, arcade games, and barber shop make it clear that those guys are there for an education.

I’ll schools have those amenities, but the barbershop thing is something I quite never understood. I get my haircut about every two months. Is it necessary to have an onsite barbershop? Why can’t you go somewhere in town?

Look on the bright side. At least your school actually acknowledges men's basketball as a money maker. Ours has just ceded it to the same priority as women's soccer. I'd say it was below gymnastics and track but our AD clearly values both over an actual revenue producer/brand promoter.
