The least expensive lower-level ticket is $8,540.

The most expensive single ticket is $56,435 for lower-level club seats at midfield.

The Superbowl has absolutely nothing to do with football anymore.

It's a completely manufactured media hype event people feel brainwashed into paying attention to be because they think they're supposed to.

The vast majority of people that will be physically in attendance are just rich assholes there solely for the sake of being to post selfies on social media.

Ticket prices are down substantially this year as per this article.

LINK to The Sun article

quote:

On Monday, get-in pricing for the big game sat around $4,600 for a ticket.

While that is still a hefty price for a football game, it is down thousands from last year.

At this point last year, entry-level Super Bowl tickets were sitting at over $7,000.

Similar tickets from the Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona two years ago were at $6,000.

greater stadium capacity in the super dome is a factor

Local Fox affiliate in KC said a package for 2 people to the Super Bowl which includes hotel accommodations for two nights in downtown NOLA and tickets to the game is $12-15k....airfare is not included. I'm assuming the tickets for the Super Bowl are non premium seating.

Correct. The Super Bowl feels more like a big advertisement type thing.

It makes it easier to not watch

I’ve skipped two of the last three Super Bowls and this year will make it three out of four.

I checked the Caesars App a few weeks ago and they were trying to get people to pay 4,500 a night for a 2 or 3 night minimum to stay a Caesars in New Orleans.

We were at a party in New Orleans a couple of days before the first Super Bowl in NOLA. One of the guests at the party had two extra tickets which he offered to me for $15 apiece. That was way too much to pay for a football game in 1970.

I’m pretty sure there is a football game played, and a trophy is awarded at the end.

You might be watching the wrong channel.

What entertainment event isn’t? When was the Super Bowl ever not a manufactured event?

You mean tickets to the most popular sporting event in the country are expensive and incredibly scarce???

Completely asinine. I wouldn't pay $50 to watch King Saul vs. Pontius Pilate.
