When asked postgame about his future, and the reports that had Wade going to NC State he said “We’ll handle that at another time, right now this is about these kids and this university... but I will say this, we have a plan to keep this program rolling no matter who’s at the helm."
McNeese State University President Dr. Wade Rousse echoed that plan in an interview with KPLC 7 Sports Director Matthew Travis on Friday afternoon saying “We already have another guy that we kind of have our eyes on that, we think could keep this thing rolling.”
That plan, according to Jeff Goodman of the Field of 68, may revolve around former LSU assistant coach under Wade, and current Baylor assistant, Bill Armstrong.

You’d have to think if McNeese offers Chambers he takes the job. McNeese HC has to be better than an assistant at NC State. But he could be loyal to Wade and follow him. I’m curious to see if Chambers gets a shot.

Yeah I'd definitely stick with Wade. If you wait 2 or 3 more years it could be Miami or Creighton instead of McNeese

I'm not happy about where LSU's program is, but I don't believe for one second that McNeese is going to continue at the level they have under WW for more than next year if that and will soon pretty much go back to what they were before more likely than not.

Probably not but at least they're trying rather than sitting it out and resigning themselves to being a doormat.

maybe but they have shown they will spend as much as possible on NIL and do what they can to make sure the program wins.
