Anyone else starting to get peeved at these exorbitant salaries? Covid resulted in massive inflation, yet most middle class salaries remained the same. Meanwhile DJ moore, a slightly above average WR, just got paid more than Drew Brees’ largest contract 10 years ago. Joe Burrow’s QB draft class is making like $1B collectively. These salaries are just such a joke, these dudes are not worth more than $100M-$200M. It’s insane.

You do realize that the NFL has to give players a specified % of the total revenue the NFL earns, right?

Players are getting more b/c the NFL is getting proportionally more in kind.

No he isn’t

Bruh. You're saying there are 16 or better starters than Dak in the NFL?

PFF has him 6th, for instance.

15 is Kirk Cousins
16 is Goff
17 is Kyler Murray
18 is Geno Smith

The NFL is making way more money now though. I'm not sure why you think the players should be paid less when the league is making far more money than ever.

It's not like if players had their salaries capped the owners would lower prices on tickets and concessions. They'd just use that money to do shite like buy another yacht/jet, go on vacations OUTSIDE of the US, or worse grease local politicians to stop things like mass transport from going to stadiums b/c they want to frick you w/parking fees.

Cowboys will resign Dak. I have little doubt. The fear of starting over at QB when you already have a guy that’s better than half the QBs in the league is enough to force the decision.

No because they get a percentage of what the owners make. So it goes up.

I am not but I do think that how much QBs are being paid is kinda out of line with the other players. Decent but not elite QBs should not be resetting the market every time their contract is up.

I love all the people calling the guy who went for 4500, 36/9 with a 105 rating a bum.

Has he struggled in big games, yep. Is he a bum, frick no. He’s a good nfl starting qb and better than many.

Unless he gets them to at least the NFCCG, they need to move on.

So he's only a bum in big games. Got it.
