I tried to bump the original thread from 2010, but it’s locked.

I saw this today for the first time. This was an awesome movie. It’s on HBO right now.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel are great in it.
It’s the anti-love story movie

The cheerleader from Friday Night Lights FTW

Definitely a movie that changes depending on what age you are when you watch it.

Why doesn’t Joseph Gordon-Levitt doesn’t get bigger roles. The guy is talented as Hell. I remember him on that Lip-Sync show a few years ago. He is an unbelievably great dancer and showman.

Only changes if you ignore the narrator telling you it's not a love story.

I love this one. But 50/50 is my favorite of his movies. JGL is a great talent.

JGL lip syncs Usher

JGL lip syncs Janet Jackson

JGL lip syncs Nicki Minaj

Him keeping up with the professional dancers in Rhythm Nation is fricking impressive. He makes it look easy.

I think he does the stuff he wants and isn’t really interested in big blockbuster movies.

Alawys thought that film deserved Oscar nominations. I never want to see it again, but JGL was phenomenal.

It’s a great movie if you’ve ever been completely in love with someone that friend zoned you. Honestly watching the movie helped me get over that situation I was in at the time.

He was a great scum bag in Poker Face just a few weeks ago.

I think he just doesn’t want to take roles he doesn’t want to.

Amazing movie because it is so unbearably relatable for anyone who dated through their early 20’s.

Yep. I was in a 5 year relationship that this movie nails to every detail. She kept telling me she didn't want a relationship but wouldn't let me move on. She sabotaged every time I tried to date someone else and then would tell me she still didn't want a relationship. Met up with her a year later and sparks flew again, she wanted involved and I gave her an ultimatum that we can give it a full go or a full stop. We tried and broke up and haven't spoken to her again.

This movie really hits home. I remember watching an interview with JGL where he talked about this movie and said that his character just didn't listen to the Summer and that he had issues (or something to that nature blaming his character for the problems). If you've been in the situation, you know how it is a tornado of shite swirling around you.
