Anyone else getting annoyed with how they are writing Beth Dutton’s character?

This over-the-top dramatic hard arse persona is getting ridiculous.
I get it, she’s leather with intense mommy issues and barren because of Jamie.
Every GD episode she has to be fighting, or fricking someone over and while doing it there is plenty of pithy dialogue and one-liners to go with it.
They better be coming up with one hell of a story arc for her. She needs a serious dose of humble pie.

I just started watching this season and can't get into it. Doesn't help that paramount network seems to have a ten minute commercial break every 5 minutes. But I enjoyed all the previous seasons.

The show has gone downhill since the S2 finale. The way they handled the Beck brothers was ridiculous. They went from a legitimate foe to being nothing. The show forgot its root purpose and has gone on way too long now.
And every time Beth seems like she’s getting better and over her crap, she relapses and it’s fricking annoying. Her character absolutely sucks.

All of the “bad” women characters are cartoonish in how overacted they are. Every line is delivered in a sinister tone.

People can enjoy a show and dislike a few specific aspects. I too get annoyed by Beth because of how over the top and persistent it is.

I had Sling for watching Redzone and Yellowstone but I let it lapse with being on the road for the final couple of games along with the fact that Yellowstone is a chore to watch now with Beth’s awful character and constant commercials.

Been saying this for a few seasons. I guess her role and dialogue must have been scoring high with female viewers or something because it’s gotten so cringy I can’t think of any other reason why they haven’t cleaned it up.
