Anyone noticed HGTV has featured many more homosexuals lately?

Not meaning it in a derogatory way at all. My wife and I watch a ton of HGTV and in the last couple months the number of homosexual couples on the shows have increased exponentially. Just tonight we have watched 4 30 min shows and 3 of them featured homosexual couples.

Straight men who are married with 2 kids do. It's the easiest thing to have on (usually) with toddler aged kids around

And they never seem to pick couples that are just gay. They are the "in your face" gay.

You're probably seeing more homosexes because deep down you want to catch the gay

Gays generally have better taste, live in more "hip" areas, and have more disposable income
Who wants to see Mark and Sarah choose between brick house A in the burds, brick house B in the burbs or brick house C in the burbs?

Likewise. And while it doesn't offend me, there has been a noticeable shift.

I don't know Mark or Sarah and don't give a shite about the burbs, but brick is the way to go.

its the practical choice
but practical doesn't always make good TV

And they can get married now, so it makes sense that there would be more couples shopping for a home.

There is probably more drama between two gay men trying to design a house vs the wife telling a husband what is going to happen.

Exactly. My straw house and my stick house both came apart too easily.
