Ballers season 4 political BS

Just completely ruining the show for me. Idc what your political views are, unless it’s a political show then keep that shite out of it. Of course HBO just has to insert that shite and killed the show. Completely detracts from the other 3 seasons thus far and decided to “take on the issues”
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not The Wire or Deadwood and was never going to win any awards, but I enjoyed it.

Probably not. It’s completely out of place and feels like hbo goes completely out of their way to include shite that shouldn’t be there.
The other 3 seasons have been solid and had a little of their leftist stuff but season 4 just lays it on thick. Not trying to turn it into a right/left discussion but its just something I’ve noticed this season.

Why are conservatives so sensitive when they watch TV/movies? I don't even notice that shite that you guys get your panties in a bunch about. I'm guessing you don't even flip on a TV/movie if it has a strong female lead. LOL

It’s kinda hard for liberals to be sensitive when basically none of the content has purposeful conservative themes. But you can be damn sure they would probably be worse if that were the case
But I do agree that more and more people are becoming way too sensitive regardless

Well it is a show about black “NFL” players. I’m sure the majority of them share Ricky Jerret’s views on Trump and BLM.

You’re honestly surprised a show about the NFL shares the views of several NFL players and espouses themes (and yes, politics have been part of those themes) that have come up IRL as a result?

Hollywood is overtly left leaning and shoehorns it in to a lot of things and it can get annoying but I just try to let things that don’t personally affect my life get me really tilted

Agree that there’s more being stuff into movies than before. But I think people are also becoming more sensitive
15 years ago if a white guy is the bad guy in a movie, no one even thought about it. Now if a white guy is the bad guy, it’s “oh, of course the white guy is bad” talk

I haven't seen a show with an exclusive conservative narrative in sometime. If you think Last Man Standing does, you haven't watched the show.
