I agree. If its a air problem, then just start with the boot sideways and it would flow better, but it's a movie and the spin looks cooler.

I dont think you would need any more force to drink a boot of beer...especially when spilling means disqualification

The boot is flatter on the "ankle" sides like a real boot. Won't be able to keep beer in without spilling it.
The heel end presents a better spout for drinking.
Why not just drink it on the front of the heel end and then turn it sideways? No air bubble problem then.

Yeah well it's bullshite. They'd either spill it or choke. Once your throat is open and relaxed for chugging beer, no gay, it can only be drank so fast.

I don know about all that, but when I drank from a boot(not fast), once you got near the foot the beer would kind of rush for a split second. Id spill beer off to the sides and it would get all over my shirt. I probably looked wasted.
