Two of my attorney friends say this movie is the most accurate representation of courtroom process and procedure ever put on film.

If you've ever been to a real criminal trial or even just a regular court day for that matter, regular folks would be amazed at how mind numbingly boring the entire process is.
Sure, every once in a while, you'll get an interesting witness who reveals some pretty crazy things, or some chick will plead with a judge every once in a while, but, for the most part, it's procedural, boring as can be jargon-filled hours upon hours of boredom.
Out of all of the big legal movies, none I've seen have really captured that... And that's a damn good thing, too, because no one would watch it.
Nothing like this would ever.... And I mean ever happen in a real courtroom...

We actually got to page 2 before Atticus Finch is mentioned? For shame, M/TV Board. For shame.

Are you telling me a Judge wouldn't fire a pistol in his courtroom to regain order?
