Stealing the DNA wasn't irrelevant. Nanette has all of the proof to show authorities just incase Robert was actually able to wake up. The aspect of explaining to coworkers and the police that you stole someones DNA for a sealed off verision of a video game would be pretty interesting to hear.
Nanette didn't have a clue what was going on, she was just black mailed to do some weird B&E stuff.
Plus Robert is gonna have an awfully hard time explaining anything to anyone since his consciousness got deleted with the game and all.

You also have to consider that the real individuals at callister inc can internet the game themselves if they wanted to.
Furthermore, do you actually think people aren't going to start to wonder where Robert is after the 10 day holiday?

Robert will be dead by the time anyone knows he's missing.

I'm not question whether or not he would be dead or not. I'm stating that the people at Callister INC. have the information to connect the dots on Robert using their DNA.

finally watched black museum.
very disappointed. this had all the makings of a 'filler' episode to me. they had some odds-and-ends they wanted to make stories out of but couldn't sustain them for 60 minutes so they used the vehicle of the museum to tell these throw-away stories. yeah the easter eggs were cute like the 15 million credit comic book and the lollipop but this was the least enjoyable episode of the whole season to me. not sure what everyone found so amazing about it. was it great? 'teddy bear needs a hug'.

Disagree. It was a nice episode. Not One of the best but more. Than filler. The lead actor was really good.
I watched crocodile last night and liked it but didn't love it. I thought how She killed the old boyfriend in the hotel Room was rediculous and no way she kills a guy that much bigger than her with her bare Hands. I liked the Iceland setting

The simulation was run 1000 times and each time those two fought off the knowledge that the system knew who was right for them. They decided on their own they wanted each other 998 of the 1000 times.
That means those two cookies and every bad match in the simulation died 1000 times. That dating app is a sim holocaust but that is over looked because of the happy ending.

I think the other people in the simulations were part of the program which is why everyone stopped and stared at them when they tried to break the rules and all froze when they tried to escape.

Crocodile - I couldn't get past the fact that the girl was maybe 85 lbs and choked out a dude twice her size with ease. Other than that I liked it.
I think it was the initial fall that did it. He hit his head hard enough to cause severe bleeding. Maybe he was dazed enough that he didn't have much strength... and he seemed like a pussy.

Plus it was Christmas eve... work won't be missing him for a while.
I think one of the characters in the office (the black girl?) said something about 10 days off. I think that was included to let you know that he wouldn't be missed at work for at least that long.

One thing I can't get over on Callister and White Christmas....Who fricking cares if a computer generated version of yourself is trapped in an egg or a computer game?
Well, it's easy to say this when it's your conscious that's the lucky one to be outside of said egg/game.

Just finished...
Metalhead was complete trash. Truly terrible
Great episodes were Hang the DJ, Arkangel, and USS Callister.
The rest were meh...the show is declining appreciably.

I have finished the season. I do not get the love for Hang The DJ. Two folks dating and it was in a Match.com advanced app. Ok, that was fun.
I liked Metalhead. Black Museum was my favorite. Would rank as follows:
Black Museum
Callister
Metalhead
Crocodile
Hang The DJ
Arkangel

In Callister, the IRL people still at work have no clue whatsoever their clone is in the game. It's only the clones in the game that are aware of what's happening. So if you were in this situation, "real you" wouldn't care at all because you would be oblivious and not even know what's happening. But the clones were still very much real. They had thoughts, intellect, ideas, feelings, etc. It's basically an exact clone of you. So imagine if you were in the game, realizing you had essentially zero hope of escape for all eternity trapped in a game. It would be awful.
