Can someone please explain what this guy's appeal is? Any one could get up there and do what he is doing.

He literally just walks around like an idiot on stage and says random things like "Mary had a little LAMB" and then squats all of a sudden. People laugh and Tony is pissing himself he is laughing so hard.

My guess, and only a guess bc I agree with you after you've seen his schtick about 3 times, is that he isn't a straight forward telling a joke guy. He's unique and you either get him or get tired of him.

his movements and mannerisms are like a TAMU Yell Leader graduated and started doing open mic nights at the Chuckle Hut

Him and William Montgomery just don't do it for me at all.

went to a Mothership show and he headlined and I feel like it translates better in person. The energy and non stop motion and rapid fire jokes is almost exhausting to watch and made it hard to catch your breath while laughing and watching it. One of the oddest comedy experiences I’ve had

I saw Kill Tony for the first time this summer with the Shane Gillis Trump episode. He absolutely killed it

I've tried to watch it since then and really want to like it. But shite like this guy is exactly why I can't. I just don't find any of it funny. The crazy red headed guy isn't funny, the Asian guy isn't funny, but yet Tony and the other guests act like its the funniest thing they have ever heard. And people that are into it worship every episode and if you disagree, then obviously it is your own fault.

I guess I just don't "get it" but after giving it a few tries to get into it, I just can't

They aren’t on every episode, and are just a small part of the show. Hans, the Asian guy, has barely been on the show for almost 2 years now.

Show me these people. Our thread here isn’t constant praise. And if you go check their Reddit sub, it’s more folks complaining than anything.

I didn’t understand William Montgomery appeal at first either but he’s incredible imo. I’ve gone and watched to when he first started and he’s not for everyone but he’s a genius and legit crazy I think. His jokes are hit or miss but he’s always a great interview which is pretty incredible considering he’s on the show seemingly every week. Always manages to find a way to be interesting or have a story to tell whether made up, embellished or true. He can think on the fly very quickly. Like a new age very poor man’s Andy Kaufman but he cracks me up every time and he isn’t afraid to go after any of the guests.

Drew Nickens is awful.
Casey Rocket hits 1/10 times.
Hans Kim was awful for a time there but feel like he’s got a lot better.
Jury still out on Kam. I think he got content there for a while but his sets have been good lately.
Ari has the most big time comedy special potential.
Oh and the guy who utilizes the computer to talk…fast forward through that as well.
Martin is great. Love how he gets pissed off and starts going off on folks

ETA: I’ve only really got into the show over the last year but have been going back and watching old shows and don’t have quite the knowledge on the show as others do but I’m glad I found it because of that Trump Biden special

I agree 100%. I love Tony and I do think it's a cool idea and I'm happy it's taken off. Part of it is I'm expecting to die laughing every time and when I don't I get disappointed.

Some of the stuff is almost blatantly unfunny and when I see everyone hysterically laughing and Tony about to fall out of his chair, it makes me wonder what I'm missing.

William Montgomery is fantastic during the interview part imo. But his routines are just a bunch of one liners that doesn't do much for me. Casey Rocket was funny the first time I saw him because it was something weird, but after you've seen him a few times, there's not much more to get out of it.

How is yelling "HOW DARE YOU!" after every question he is asked fantastic? He is easily the worst regular on the show.

As for Casey, I think his schtick works in 1 minute segments but IDK that I could watch him jitter bug around stage for an hour.

I appreciate he's trying something unique at least, even if it doesn't land.

I'd guess the hope is he gets better and improves his hit rate with audiences.

Gives me Robin Williams on stage or when he was a Carson/Letterman guest vibes. It just doesn't resonate with me.

I liked Casey a lot the first time I saw him on KT. He had this 90's physical comedy vibe. But most of his stuff on KT didn't seem to work well. I'd go see him do a full set out of curiosity to see how he does his act for an extended period of time.
