It's sad to report this:

I'll edit to say, "The end of a Legendary career."

Great actor, and I think even better director.

What a career he has had, from acting to directing to mayor.

Helluva a run. Its amazing that the dude is 95 years old and directed over twenty films (including some of his best) in the last quarter of his life.

His Hollywood career is pretty much the average human lifespan. His production as a director was especially remarkable for someone people probably didn't take seriously as an intellectual.

Incredible career. I thought he did more classics than anyone.

...and while he's "liberal", he doesn't appear to be insane.

It's crazy how actors seem to live forever. I'd love to see a study on if their lifespans are longer than the average adults.

It does seem to lend credence to keeping a purpose in life greatly extending your lifespan.

He's supported candidates in both parties and considered himself a social liberal and a fiscal conservative.

In other words he was normal.

Kelly's Heroes is way too low on that list.

Toby Keith tells about writing Don't Let the Old Man in.

Great Clint stories:

i've always watched a few here and there (exceptionally love tG,tB,tU and Unforgiven), but I made it a goal to knock out the Dollars trilogy and Pale Rider and High Plains Drifter.

GBU and Unforgiven remained my favorite, but man, i really missed out on some great westerns by not getting into them until my 40s.

What a bad ratings list. The very underrated Two Mules For Sister Sarah comes in at #32? GTFO...

That's going to be a big deal when he eventually passes away. Hopefully he stays with us for a good while longer. I was too young to understand the impact of John Wayne or Elvis's death, but I think it will be on that same level.
