So, it looks like the roles reverse and Rip/Beth are the newcomers fighting the Harris/Benning family that has generational ties to their massive tracts of land.
We'll see if they can keep the protagonist position with this shift.

Is Taylor Sheridan still involved? I'm honestly tired of all the spinoffs and beating the dead Yellowstone horse over and over. That spinoff with Luke Grimes was absolutely brutal, couldn't make it through the first episode. Couldn't really get into Landman either.......That being said if they ever make a Red Dead series having him involved in some capacity wouldn't be a horrible idea.

I think he struggles to find good product placement opportunities in the stories set in the past. They didn’t have Ariat and Yeti in 1944.

Taylor Sheridan is not the writer for the Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch, marking a shift from his, historically, sole-writer approach to the franchise. While he remains an executive producer, the show features a writers' room and was spearheaded by showrunner Chad Feehan.
