They got close to it on prom night in that hotel but decided to wait. Honeymoon is the right answer.
They started dating in season 3 which was 8th-9th grade.

Bee got it right. They definitely didn't have sex until the honeymoon (some odd scenes in that ep with Cory being kind of a perv), so you gotta figure all of hs and all of college puts it around 8 years or so.
