Watched this with my wife last night. Definitely a great flick to bring a couple closer together.
Holy shite, what an incredible film. The story was amazing, acting was great, music was perfect, everything about it was spot on. They chose the perfect actors for the roles.
Definitely tugs at your heart in a few scenes.
If you have not seen it, would highly recommend you watch it with your SO. Keep some tissues handy.

A movie where a husband pimps his wife out for a million bucks is a couples movie? Didn’t she just take up with Redford afterwards too?

This is where the movie lost me. It went from an interesting scenario to something silly.

Did you see an LSU cap in the movie?
I think Woody was supposed to be an LSU Architecture grad.

So did you ask your wife if she would do it?

I think it has one of the best endings.
The movie itself can be unsettling.

I like this movie. Demi was possibly at her peak here and Redford is entirely believable as a rich man.

It's crazy how much 90s era Redford and modern era Pitt favor each other

It’s a good movie but, dude… not one of those movies

Makes many of us average dudes realize we are no match to rich dudes when it comes to money. Many women migrate towards money when giving the chance.

Especially when that dude looks like Robert Redford. He was in his mid-50s in that movie.

Robert Redford was supposed to star in the graduate but they changed their minds because no one would believe he was a virgin

Meh for its time. Definitely dated now. Re-watched it not long ago. I didn’t believe it for a second. Sorry, that’s just my honest reaction.

"Well, let's put it this way", said Nichols, "Have you ever struck out with a girl?" "What do you mean?" asked Redford. "That's precisely my point," said Nichols.

The Novel was his archetype.
Blonde, surfer...Athletic....
Dustin Hoffman works as Benjamin Braddock but you have to roll your eyes at him being a "track star', that's a bridge too far.
