Is the EXO suit in Elysium the stupidest concept of an EXO suit ever made?

Max gets extreme radiation, going to die in 5 days. So to make him strong enough for a job Spider screws in an exoskeleton to his bones. Somehow, SOMEWAY, this heals him of his cancer for a couple of days and gives him the strength of a droid.
Also, he wakes up the next day and can sit up and walk. Can you imagine how fricking sore you would be if they screwed an exoskeleton into your bones and placed a usb drive into your head? I bet you couldn’t walk for weeks, if it even worked. And that mijo pats his head in the morning, that shite would give Damon should a headache he’d collapse.
The idea is stupid and Blomkamp should feel fricking ashamed, District 9 takes a shite on Elysium and it starts with the Exo suit.

He was still wasting away in it. He was basically a joystick for the suit and a useful and expendable pawn.
