Good episode. And yeah, Tony was a bit annoying, like with the guy who worked at a small airport. He had a pretty good set and Tony barely lets him talk while trying to ram a boring joke down the audience’s throat, over and over.

I’m happy for Casey Rocket. I’ve liked everything I’ve seen from him but I’m worried I’m going to get tired of his schtick. We’ll see.

I saw that Paul Deemer left the band to work on his own music career. I always enjoyed his contributions. He’s a super talented horn player.

Also want to add that Hans is a pos for using his ex's credit for door dash if he is dumb enough to do that and admit it on KT

Joe List is the guest tonight. I'm guessing Tom Green will be next week.

I got to that point very quickly. I don't care what Tony's professional opinion of him is. He spent months blowing Ellis Ayche and Liz Splatt.

Rocket seems like a good dude though, so I agree with you. I'm happy for the guy too.

I love Kill Tony but Redban is the opposite of funny.

A few takeaways from tonight:

1) Can someone explain the Abraham Lincoln micropenis cuck joke? Everyone seemed to love it, but I'm totally lost.

2) Black Canadian guy got way too much credit.

3) Trombone guy is creepy as hell.

I started following the Mothership on IG and see the same openers all the time.

Who is Brian Holtzman? He’s a funny looking dude and I don’t know if he’s 45 or 65.

I'm about halfway through. Bucket pulls have been atrocious except for 1.

I'm not a fan of the new horns section added. It's just too much and feels like the band on a late night talk show. Maybe it's the sax? The band had a really cool vibe, but now all I hear are the horns, killing the vibe. Deemer was a perfect fit with them on the trombone and trumpet.

I don’t know much about him other than what I’ve seen from him on Kill Tony. I want to say he did the 10 year anniversary and the two New Years shows at HEB Arena. He does dirty, dark jokes.

With no punch lines. I don’t have an issue with dirty or dark humor. In fact, I love it. But I just don’t think I’ve laughed once at anything Holtzman has said.

I'm only cracking up because every bucket pull has been booed except maybe one.

The episode started off pretty rough. Casey Rocket had a good set and interview but the bucket pulls were dogshit. It was looking like it was going to be a repeat of last week but then there were several great bucket pulls once the Billy Swift guy went. Loved his bit about recreational use of Viagra.

Pretty good episode
Casey is doing alright as the opener so far

Matt was a really good guest IMO. He didn't talk over folks played into bits with call backs and jokes & was quiet when needed to be so I look for him to become a regular since moving to Austin also

That laugh when the boy was bombing and tried to transition to "anyone do Jiu Jitsu?" was funny to me

I like Carlos Lopez so I hope he can come up with new material & he is pretty quick witted which helps with the banter between him and Tony/guests on the show

Gotta admit, I don’t get it.

When I watch him it seems like a text book example of “The Emperor’s New Clothes”

I used to live next door to a comedy club. Went there all the time. Stars and open mics. I saw many bad sets. I have not seen a good set from Casey Rocket.

The first bucket pull - Jaxson something was funnier than Casey Rocket.

He's not for everyone. His brand of comedy is very abnormal. There are not any big setups or punchlines. He's more about vibes, saying weird and random shite, and physical comedy.

I think it was a very odd choice for Tony to put him in as a regular, given all of the above. But so far, it seems like things have gone well.
