I've had the Food Network on in the background today and this guy has failed three of the four challenges he has taken on, all three being miserable failures.

The man should be fired.

I rarely watch the show, I liked the other guy’s personality better, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen him beat one.

I didn't even realize it kept going after Richman. That guy looks very annoying as a host. I liked Richman's presentation

He dominates the spicy challenges.

But yes, he quits too close to the goal line on the quantity challenges.

Yeah he just took down a ghost pepper challenge with 11 minutes left on the clock.

Yeah, this guy sucks I didn't know this show was still being made.

The OG Man vs Food and Bizarre Foods/BF America are some of my favorite shows to kill time.

He's no Adam..... And Zimmern is the GOAT.

He is also GENUINELY warm, funny, kind and engaging.

I had the privilege of chatting with Andrew at Austin Food + Wine several years ago (I was bartending, he's sober but I hooked him up with a delicious iced tea drink).

I was always a fan of his show but he's one of my favorite foodie personalities I've ever met.

Bizzare Foods was one of the most enjoyable shows for me.

I still watch it occasionally to see the early parts of the show where he visits different restaurants, meets a few customers, and goes into the kitchen with the chef/owner. I hang around to see what the challenge entails, but I don't watch to see if he wins or not.

I 100% agree Adam was a much better host.

He was great, but he literally had to quit due to health reasons from eating so much shite. He was exercising twice a day while filming and still gained 60+ pounds from the show.

Somehow though when Adam was the host, it didn't seem as glutinous.

It seems like when the new guy took over they went way too extreme and it got disgusting.

He was doing the equivalent of the SNL Taco Town sketch every episode.

So the opposite of Richman?

It's been years since I watched it, but the spicy stuff always seemed to be Adam's Achilles heel. He could eat a house if it wasn't spicy.

Spinoff thread idea: I wonder who holds the Tiger Droppings record for the Pluckers Fire in the Hole wing challenge. My personal best is 45.

Geez. I can handle spicy, but can only eat about 30 wings.

You win this one.

I couldn't take down 45 regular wings, let alone Fire In The Hole.

I did it for lunch in between classes when I was at LSU. I went to my afternoon class and as soon as I walked in, two friends were like “what the frick happened to your face?” I looked and all around my mouth was red and looked like a rash. I immediately left and skipped the class.

The arse volcano that followed was not fun.
