I'm sure Disney and Kevin Feige are already making moves to bring Web-Weaver to the MCU.

Marvel will debut the first gay Spider-Man in the upcoming Edge of Spider-Verse #5.
Edge of Spider-Verse #5 writer Steve Foxe shared an image of Marvel's first gay Spider-Man, Web-Weaver, onto his Twitter account.
"Something I realized immediately when conceiving Web-Weaver is that he can't -- and shouldn't -- represent ALL gay men," Foxe posted. "No single character can. His fearlessly femme identity is central to who he is, but it's not the STORY...which you can experience for yourself in September!"

Still not as bad as what they’ve done with Superman. I’m sure Jay Nakamura is going to age well, a character so popular that he doesn’t autofill into the Google image search:

Web Weaver sums up the brilliance of this stupidity. Stupid name, stupid costume, inspired by stupid people who have totally bought in.

Man, this is so going to revive the fly-infested carcass that is the comic book industry...

I don't mind a gay spiderman, really don't. But why do they have to make their gay characters so over the top gay? Someone thought it would be a good idea for gay spiderman to to sashe over to the crime scene?

It isn’t about the comic book industry. It’s about calling new movie characters cannon

This is the type of thing that the gay community will shite on. I was listening to the Midnight Boys pod last week when they discussed the Miles Morales Thor comic and how stupid and over the top the premise was. 4 black guys openly mocking Miles calling Asgard his hood.
It’s stupid and does more harm than good for any inclusivity movement. It’s embarrassing.

Gay pride is only about femmes and trans and drag queens now. They have to be campy and outlandish to keep bored fat white liberal women entertained.

Dawgfan and his ilk will be along soon to tell us how it’s fine to make a movie about gay Spider-Man because it was “done in the comics”

They can never be just normal dudes who happen to like dick. They always have to be overly flamboyant and sexualized. Tou'd think the gays would not like being stereotyped.

The whole connotation of a gay superhero shooting "white streams" out of his body is interesting.

So they couldn't garner enough interest in their own character so it was time to, yet again, hijack another character?
