Coincides with James Gunn jumping ship.

Except that Marvel has made some awesome movies along the way and DC movies have been mostly utter crap outside of Batman

Depends how you want to stack the deck. Road to Perdition and The Fountain were both published by DC's Vertigo line. Constantine is a DC character as well.

No, when they were comics DC was always the leader. Movies pushed Marvel ahead. Now their DEI policies are making their movies unwatchable.

I just watched Aquaman 2 on a flight and can assure this is not entirely true.
The only DC movies that have hit were MoS, WW, and Aquaman 1.
MoS and The Suicide squad were the outliers.

If I could wipe movies from existence, Man of Steel would be in the top five. Maybe not top 3, but definitely up there in needing to go away.

I mean it really is, it’s a lazy catch all term for people who only want to see at most surface level problems of the MCU. Blaming the MCU’s problems on having too many women or gays is such a shite excuse that tells me that person doesn’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
