YouTube Behind the Scenes Trailer
In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, thirty years after the wise and powerful Zordon formed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the team comes face to face with a familiar threat from the past. In the midst of a global crisis, they are called on once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the legendary mantra from the franchise “Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger,” Once & Always reminds everyone when you become a Ranger, you are always a part of the Ranger family and always welcome.
Left to Right (color based on memory)
Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam Park - Black Ranger #2)
Richard Steven Horvits (Alpha 5)
Walter Jones (Zack Taylor - Black Ranger #1)
David Yost (Billy Crannston - Blue Ranger #1)
Steve Cardenas (Rocky DeSantos - Red Ranger #2)
Karan Ashley (Aisha Campbell - Yellow Ranger #2)
Charlie Kersh (Minh - No clue who this is)
Catherin Sutherland (Kat Hillard - Pink Ranger #2)
They show a Green Ranger in the different clips, but I don't know if it's Jason David Frank or not. He's not listed on IMDB.

i feel like the appeal for this between a 37 year old and a 40 year old will be wildly different.
when this came out, i was just old enough to go "this is stupid and childish, who watches this?" *
but... but... wth is Amy Jo Johnson?
*i'm just saying in terms of age. i'm old enough to have been excited for muppet babies, g.i. joe, and TMNT.

Trini the original yellow ranger's daughter.(in story not actually)
Also a terrifying fact most people don't know. In the original MMPR. The show used Asian stock footage for most of the fight scenes and built a storyline for the show around that using American actors. Everyone always crushed on the original pink Ranger and most people passed over Trini who I thought was pretty in her own right...I wonder if the reason for this is because in Asia the original yellow ranger was played by a guy.

They used stock footage of Japanese shows for pretty much every series of MMPR, don't know about the recent ones as much but they did this for a long time. Toys that made us on Netflix covered this a lot.
The whole Saban selling and Disney getting it and not knowing wtf to do with it and then Saban getting it back for pennies is great too. All the OG toys being Japanese toys repackage for it is great too.
Stan Lee was the original person that wanted to do this same thing, but no one would buy off on it til Saban came a long. Toys that made us covered MMPR origins pretty good.

Ya'll just mainlining nostalgia now? There's got to be a point where you develop a tolerance to being led around by the nose.

I thought pretty much everyone knew this?

I’m trying to think ahead of the curve, what will early 2000s kids be nostalgic for from their childhood in the next decade? What’s cheap to start stocking to resell when they have disposable income and nostalgia

I think it has to be him. Nobody else played the green ranger (I think?). There'd be no reason to have some random stand in there.

I think a lot of people knew about the stock footage
Not soo much that the original Yellow Ranger was actually played by a guy

That's shocking considering the problematic nature of some of their songs

It’d be kind of surprising if Austin St. John (Jason - red ranger #1) and Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly - pink ranger #1) weren’t a part of this, especially given the recent passing of Jason David Frank (Tommy - green and white ranger).
