First thing I always think of when I see Lincecum.
When I see him on TV, I always watch and see if he grabs at his nose every 12 seconds...if he does, then I will convinced that he's the same person as Mitch.

the obannon paint on the head or whatever scene and the total "randy should not play meanie football and sign that paper" attitude really bring that movie down. I mean if Randy wants to blow off football to go see Aerosmith with McConaughey and that balding redhead chick then frick him.

That's kind of disappointing.

It probably captures the counter-culture attitude of the era in a way that wouldn't make sense in the 80s or later.

The funniest thing about Wiley Wiggins is that he had never played baseball. That was one of the hardest scenes to shoot in the whole movie because Wiley Wiggins couldn't throw a ball convincingly enough for everyone to think he was a pitcher. They had to hire someone to work with him on it until he got to the point you see on film....which is admittedly terrible.
