WTF does that even mean? Tommy Lee was just as exposed as Pamela Anderson was by that sex tape. I don't understand why Pamela being exposed on film is supposed to be worse than Tommy Lee's junk getting seen by the world just because she's a woman.

I get what you're saying, but there definitely is a double standard when it comes to that kind of shite for women. Yes, they were both "equally exposed," but it's definitely not the same for a woman than it is for a man.
ETA: And I can't get over that being Lily James. Holy shite.

I imagine part of this is that Pam's entire image was built around sex/nudity and this took a lot away from that image (both in revealing stuff that the public wouldn't have got to see as well as objectifying her even more).

In a vacuum there is no difference.
Problem is we don’t live in a vacuum and there actually is a huge societal difference in how we perceive those things, even though as you said they are the same exact thing, especially before the explosion of the internet and everything it’s brought from a porn standpoint
