Princess Azula, Suki, and Avatar Kyoshi cast for Live Action Avatar the Last Airbender

While I’m still apprehensive on the show, they’re absolutely slaying it with the casting. Might be the best cast fantasy since the Lord of the Rings. Azula and Suki’s actresses look strikingly like the characters. I will watch it for the casting alone since at least it’s now confirmed there’s no way it will be as bad as that rumored live action movie Shyamalan made.

Elizabeth Yu (“All My Love”), plays Azula, the daughter of Fire Lord Ozai and sister to Zuko. Mike and Bryan left over creative differences though and have banned Jeremy Zuckerman (the composer) from being a part of the series. Jeremy was Bryan’s college roommate for years and he’s setting him up for the rest of his life, so I think that’s fair of Bryan to ask of him but not anyone else who has worked on the franchise. I need to see the product before giving it a full blessing since there are few franchises that have been fricked over as much as this one.

It should be so easy. Do the show! Maybe spend a little more time in the northern water tribe and take more than one day for Sokka to become a top-notch Kyoshi warrior. Also please don't make Appa the stuff of nightmares.

100% agree.
I am glad Nickoleon decided to give Mike and Bryan their own studio now. That's where I think the real good products will come out of.
If this series misses I'm not as concerned knowing that Mike and Bryan have their own thing going on independent of this.

Maria and Elizabeth look very different. I always thought Suki was an average beauty (like OT 5) while Azula was beautiful but that makes her all the more terrifying.
