Everything he said is something a good parent would say to their smartass a-hole children. He even had the heart to give her away to a happier home in the end.

Matilda is a great movie. For us, it's one of the movies that we rewatch a lot because there are so many fun things.
The book is a good read, and was followed by the script, even if Roald Dahl couldn't quite envision PeeWee Herman as a Federal Agent.

Fun fact: the actress that portrays Matilda is Ben Shapiro’s first cousin and they both openly despise one another.

There is so much ironically and horrifically and perfectly wrong with that that Padma Lakshmi tweet.
