Sadly, I don't think there was much of a fight.

It really is. Arnold's most complete movie.

Didn't I hear Shane Black was writing a sequel and Arnold was interested in reprising his role?

So just cast Arnold and Dwayne Johnson with a Shane Black script and shut up and take my money.

McTiernan, it seems, is such a footnote in movie history.

The guy is probably the best "action flick" director ever.

Predator is indeed a masterpiece. Along with Conan the Barbarian, it is possibly the most macho, male badass film of the last 40 yrs.

I liked Boyd Holbrook in Logan. I think he's the lead in this one. He should be ok. Keegan Michael Key and Olivia Munn though I'm not sure about.

yep.

The new cast would literally be eaten alive be the original...lot of limp wrists holding weapons in that first picture.
