i haven't watched these since they aired on Fox back in the '90s. i think they were reruns at the time since they aired on HBO originally.

I wonder if that is adapted from the first segment of the 1972 Tales From the Crypt movie where Joan Collins whacks her husband only to get murdered by a homicidal maniac dressed in a Santa suit that her daughter let in the house?

Man, the first minute of that with the old school HBO intro never gets old. It's so good.

i watch another with Jon Lovitz last night... "Top Billing"
he plays an actor struggling to get a gig. stumbles on a Hamlet play. turns out the building the play is in is a mental hospital and Lovitz ends up getting killed so his skull can be used a Yorick's skull in the play.

Accidentally saw the opening when I was like 5. The Crypt Keeper terrorized my dreams until I was at least 11

I always liked Cutting Cards and The Secret. I have the whole run on DVD. Well worth it.
