The new season is out on Netflix for anyone interested.
The show is probably below par in its own right, but seems to work as a sequel to the original. Kitty and Red are the highlight. The new group of kids are actual teenagers who for the most part are not as good of actors or charismatic at the original.
Bob and Donna were in the news season. They’ve replaced Leo (Chong) with Jay and Silent Bob.

Honestly get rid of the kids and focus on red kitty and bob, only good things about the show. The kids just annoy me.

I watched part 2, just saw part 3 was out.
Nostalgic… not the best but a good, simple show to watch.

Kitty and Red took a trip to Paris to end season 2. There’s a scene in season 3 where they discuss it, with a certain reference to 90s culture, which is absolutely hilarious.

Kelso and Jackie wont be coming back due to their unwavering support of the rapists danny masterson
But i didnt realize part 3 was out

Kelso and Jackie did come back in the first season. I don’t recall what the timing was with that and the Masterson conviction…I also seemingly remember they retracted at least some of their “support” for him. One of the kids in the new show is theirs. Kelso’s daughter actually appears in season 3.
That I recall, they haven’t said anything about Hyde’s character. They have mentioned Laurie Foreman and showed her picture on the wall, but nothing about her whereabouts.
As you mentioned, Leo did come back I earlier seasons, he just wasn’t in this one.
Eric had a brief cameo. Fez has been back in a few episodes, thought not in season 3.
They’ve brought back some minor characters in Fenton, Earl and Mitch (Seth Green).
