Started watching The Love Boat on CBS All Access and it is WONDERFULLY TERRIBLE!
The nostalgia is great...the opening credits with the guest stars are awesome to watch.
Its cheesy and predictable but it is AWESOME!
If you watch The Love Boat and Fantasy Island on Saturday nights as a youth...do yourself a favor and go back and watch again...you will not regret it!

PS- The Pacific Princess was sent to the scrap yard in 2013!

Me TV also shows an episode of it on Sundays if you don't have the CBS all access.

Yup! Stumbled across this the other day and spent WAY too long watching. Used to watch as a kid when it was on, and I totally forget there was a laugh track!

I came across an episode flipping channels recently. Great bit of nostalgia. And it was cool seeing all the well known actors/actresses who were that week's passengers on the ship.

Charo needed to be on that show more frequently.

I agree. I found a torrent of season 1, but can't find any other seasons. Youtube seems to have some random episodes.
Does CBS have all of the seasons? I love the show for nostalgic reasons. Really takes you back to the late 70s/early 80s. Fantasy Island too.

They DO NOT have all of the episodes...for example...I first episode I watched was Ep 1 Season 5...which was "To Be Continued." Yet Ep 2 was not available so I don't know how it ended . The next available episode was Ep 5.
So I guess it's not "All Access" after all.

That sucks. I'll probably still sign up for CBS' service, though.
I've been trying to find a streaming service that is heavy on classic tv shows, but haven't had any luck. Love that Peacock has all of the Carson episodes and Rockford Files, though.

Love boat and FI were must see TV when I was a kid, along with Dallas.
Fun fact: We cruise on Princess, and they have the love boat crew doing the safety drills. It's really cool.

The show would've been so much better if the ports actually mattered.
Acapulco? Not again!
Instead all the drama was on the boat.
It would have been cool to see a dalliance while exploring different ports of call.

What kid didn't want the Love Boat playset back in the day?

I remember watching it. Yeah it pretty much sucked back then too
There were some cheesy shows on in the 70's.
