The NFL using CGI for the yard markers in a snow game is bullshite.

I would rather see it the way the players do.

For context:

It's snowing like crazy in the MNF game. The field is completely covered, but they have some digital way of making all the lines and numbers look clean for the TV viewer.

I would prefer to feel the same chaos the players must feel.

I'm scared, not the chaos I'm looking for.

My problem is that it makes it hard to understand player/refs decisions, because I can see every line perfectly, but they can't see shite.

I'm showing my age. Back in my day if you had one game on a work night, it was MNF, or the Super Bowl.

I didn’t like it either.
It’s not supposed to be easy to see the lines, that’s what makes a game like that awesome.

The only thing different was the numbers. The players can still see the line markers. It is easier to tell what yard line you are on when you are on the field.

Here is TV View:

Here is the player's view:

Umm. that's the results from "snowing like crazy"?

That's a light dusting if anything.

last night was much worse, but they had people shoveling the lines constantly for the players to see

The comparison photos were for an older game. I couldnt find a comparison for last nights game. Although last nights game did have a lot more snow.
