Less Furious 7

More Big Fish

I would keep Furious 7, toss E.T., then add Big Fish.

Only one movie should be on that list... Brian's Song. That's the only movie without a dead dog men are allowed to cry over

Good point. As a general rule of thumb, if the dog dies, I ain't watching the movie in the first place. John Wick was the exception.

Friday Night Lights part where Tim McGraw slips the ring on Billingsley's finger gets me pretty good

get you one of these

ETA, the end of Warrior is up there but the scene with Nolte having the setback and Hardy putting him in the bed was the toughest IMO

The lack of Where the Red Fern Grows or Old Yeller on this list is dumb.

Another great scene.

My dad wasn’t an alcoholic and me and my brother have been at odds before so prefer the end scene

Good call on Friday Night Lights

Now that was balling cry worthy as a kid...especially when your Dad is everything to you...it's the child version of Field of Dreams but far more depressing.

rolleyes

You really think an Alien going home should make everyone cry? Just because Elliott is crying. E.T..is not Old Yeller. Its just fantasy land. In fact it would've been depressing if Elliot kept him as some intergalactic pet. Him going home was a happy moment. ::

Mostly women love that Spielberg sentimentality and as a kid you're not gonna cry like a dupe in front of your friends as a boy.. I saw E.T. twice in the theaters, never saw a man or boy cry just older older women.

No Old Yeller, Sounder, or Where The Red Fern Grows?

List is complete and utter poop. I hope whoever made it is stricken with dysentery and shits themselves to death in front of their children.

Lonesome Dove gets me every time.

When Call puts his hand on Gus's forehand and whispers, " Augustus"..

Man, thinking about gets me a little bit...
