This John Mulaney live show on Netflix is a train wreck

His stand-up is good, but I don’t think this format works. The live calls are cringe

Hopefully they give it some runway and ability to tweak.

Think I made it through the very first episode.

Really? I liked his test run live show he did last summer.

I thought it was way too LA-centric to have long-term appeal nationally

I loved Everybody's in LA. I haven't watched the new show yet but I'm generally here for most things Mulaney wants to do.

Mulaney's a pretty funny standup. I can do without his dreams of being Broadway star, though. Are there musical numbers on the show?

I went to see him in Biloxi in December 2023 and he was terrible
And he used to be very, very funny in my opinion.
The rehab and the marriage/kid have ruined his comedy beyond repair.

Turned it on for like 3 min to hear him talk about his wife's cancer and immediate segue into how filthy she is, hated it turned it off

He's a pretty good writer, but he has a serious case of "Mommy's Little Showman." And I don't think he's that great when he's unscripted.
