I remember it bombed when it came out, but I find it to be hilarious. I watch it often and laugh hard every time.

Sally Jones tho

Never thought Chris Farley was funny.

Nicolette Sheridan was an outright smoke show, however.

Opposite for me. Didn't like it the first time but laugh hard every time now. I think Farley is a lot more clever than he's given credit for. He's a loud fat guy but looking back he is definitely more witty than I remember.

Saw it the weekend it came out at the theater.

Was funny. Laughed a lot.

Saddens me a little now because it makes me miss Farley.

Farley hated himself when he saw the film. He thought he looked like a big fat joke. I love the movie and will still watch it whenever it's on. Sheridan was an absolute bombshell and rock was great too. Only unwatchable Farley movie is Almost Heroes

I remember laughing way to much at the Chris Rock driving scene and the hibachi scene.

"You lead us astray"
"I didn't lead us anywhere"

Almost Heroes is way funnier than BHN.

"I name this here fork Pittsburg Nelly. A Welsh whore, who could do things with her one good arm, that would make you forget that thing on her neck."

Movie wins based off this one quote.

Tommy Boy was the best
After that, he tried the same formula for Black Sheep and Beverly Hills Ninja and it never quite got back to Tommy Boy - plus his drug use probably got worse and worse.

I actually quoted that the other day . I also lose it at the scene where he's trying to learn the alphabet. Farley movies are a guilty pleasure.

BHN is possibly his weakest IMO, but there's still scenes in it that make me laugh. Are his movies dumb? For sure. But if you laugh a couple times that's all that matters.

"The blackness of my belt is like the inside of a coffin on a moonless night."

"That's pretty black man."

"It is a black art. And I, Haru, am the blackest of the black. Or rather the great white black, art...blackest...master."
