Possibly the most interesting trailer I've seen from Marvel in years.

But I'm confused how they can take out the guy who makes people disappear/evaporate with a wave of his hand.

Probably won't see it in a theater, but I might watch it if I still have Disney+ when it comes out there.

But that's pretty good; I haven't seen a Marvel movie in the theater since 2019 (Endgame) and have totally skipped (at least) 6 of the ones that have come out since then.

seems like the Void is essentially Thanos but he doesn't need infinity stones to make people disappear.

Is he killing people or is he sending them somewhere? Somewhere like "the void"?

Interesting that the first trailers showed a sense of humor and fun and this one was pretty serious

I'm hoping that it's meant to show that the movie has both, and isn't the result of Suicide Squad-level rewrites.

This looks way better than Fantastic Four. Looking forward to early audience reviews to see if it's any good.

I hope this is good, but I’m just not that interested in the thunderbolts as a team. Never have been.

Still I see it and hopefully I’ll be surprised.

I'm still not interested in the Guardians of the Galaxy, but they did a great job with that team in the movies. Here's hoping they can get back to making fun movies like that with characters no one really cares about.

Hawkeye was decent

Shang Chi
Spiderman:No Way Home was enjoyable but a bit too much for me
GotG 3
Werewolf by Night

that's all i got. couldn't remember another one I'd recommend.

the only other things i've seen are Thor 3, BP2, DS:MoM, Wandavision, and F&tWS and I'll never revisit any of them.

Yeah, I don't get this at all. How are they defeating a guy that's basically making swaths of people disappear?

We see from the earlier trailers, he was originally on the Thunderbolts squad. My guess is they do a lot of talking and trying to relate to him to him to come back to his senses. Which is ok, I guess. But we definitely aren't getting a big final battle I imagine.

That would be a bit of a letdown, honestly, but they have to make Sentry a good guy somehow I guess. Seems odd to make him the villain of this film really.

With teamwork, of course

Werewolf by Night

Underrated outing IMHO.

The retro horror cheese, (mostly) black and white photography, and the classic “ABC Special” graphics helped it a lot.

Sentry is a weird arse character, period.

They may go with the “Sentry is the force of good while Void is the balancing force of evil” version while trying to balance out that Sentry is has legit mental issues.

I’d pay to see the scene from the Dark Avengers comic where Norman Osborn recruits him in part by selling him on Five Guys burgers just because Norman effectively bullshits a god-level being.

That seems like what they have to be going with. Or maybe it's a one-off character for just this film, but that feels like a waste.

Prior to its release, I would have said the same thing about GotG

Thor 3 - Horrid from start to finish. Even Hemsworth has complained about the tone.

BP2 - Also horrid from start to finish; Namor is a decent villain but makes very little sense (and his defeat is ugh)

DS:MoM - not bad, but Wanda's psychotic break makes no sense with the end of...

Wandavision - Started off really good, sad the ending was meh

F&tWS - The only decent part is the chemistry between the two leads. Everything else is bad, and the villains are terrible.

You're missing Loki, which is arguably the best thing they've done since Endgame

No lack of trying with the marketing, I'll give them that.
