So was that stupid fricking Maul "death" at the end of episode 1.
Maul should have left Obiwan after killing his master and watching him hang in a tunnel..kidnapped Anakin and begain training him in secret. Taking initiative where the jedi failed, instilling that seed into Anakin's mind.
Anakin should have still been a kid halfway through episode 2, and Obiwan pushed by his failure and battling emotions sets out to rescue Anakin. He is successful, but the corruption in Anakin may have already been too much as he grows.
Thats where Padme could come back in and be a strong figure and important part of this story to 1 man now, instead of a world. Which is ironically more important as the man she has influence over, can destroy worlds.
Maul should have been a presence of Obi-Wan's conflict over the first 3 episodes...since they kept him alive anyways..
Etc etc
Eta
Imagine if Anakin had been intensly trained by Maul for over a decade and never damaged on Mustafar. Instead he turns on Obiwan in a 3 way fight (mirroring the Duel of fates in a way), helping Maul defeat him and the Jedi. Anakin knows this is his best route to ultimate power. He thinks like a machine now even though his body is human. Feeling emotion ironically would have been good for this jedi, making the love between him and padme even more important. At some point in this story..She needs to be killed instead of dying from a broken heart, it needs to be made to look like the remaining Jedi did it to kill his potential offspring.
So, after knowing he has learned all he can from Maul, Anakin then kills Maul when he presents his treachery to the Emperor..and then Anakin takes his place at the side of the Emperor, to learn more about the power of the dark side.

The Sioux nation speaking Yiddish in “Blazing Saddles” is also up there.
The rabbi with the “fagolis?” line in Men in Tights was fantastic too.

Always thought she gave a good comedic performance in this movie. Underrated in that area too.

She played off of Bill Pullman perfectly.

I argue that it’s not only a Star Wars movie, but canon. Kylo Ren is just young Dark Helmet. Lonestar and President Taylor are also the same character. Lonestar is the child of Korkie and Ashoka Tano, Korkie being the illegitimate love child of Duchess Satine of Mandalore and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Snoke was cloned from an alien of a species wiped out by the same aliens from Independence Day.

Well, the Falcon does make an appearance towards the end of the movie in the parking lot of the diner.
