What Do You Think Happened To Furio?

Always liked the guy on The Sopranos.
If memory serves me right, his ultimate fate is unknown, correct?
I think Tony said something to the effect of “he’s a dead man” once he was made aware of Carmela’s feelings for him. Yet by that time Furio had long since returned to Italy.
I wonder if Tony followed through with his threat to have him sought out or if he was just mouthing off. If he did, I wonder if Furio was able to remain hidden or protected. Furio had a lot of connections in Italy and was on home turf.

I was really hoping that Tony would’ve put aside any past feelings and brought him back for the finale to ***spoilers*** take care of Phil Leotardo
But probably went back to Italy and moved on from Carmella with some other broads but never really getting over her.

it was just posturing by tony. he couldnt have him killed. he was just the head of a glorified crew. furio came from the the capo di tutti capi, boss of all bosses.
