Which do you prefer? White Lotus season 1 or 2?

Just finished a rewatch of both of these. I am not sure which I would choose but I think season 1 may be better. Seems like more humor in season 1 although there are some unlikeable characters.

Season 2.
In the first season the tourists screwed over the locals.
In the second season, the locals screwed over the tourists.
Season 2 was less preachy & more entertaining.

Honestly, I’ve really enjoyed both and try not to nit pick between the two. I appreciate the relatability/believability in both seasons.

Season 2 aubrey plaza.
Plus i'd be will to bet there are plenty of married couples like cam and daphne. That was a pretty entertaining storyline by itself.

They were both really good. Probably liked S2 a little more overall but S1 had the best character.

Season 2 because that fat arse woman finally died.
Please God don't let Season 3 be a prequel so she can return.
She was awful, yet somehow won awards for that role.

except still pick season 1 because of Armand and Alexandra Daddario.

2 had too much coolidge, valentina was no armand, and i think the cast as a whole was weaker.
eta: I couldn't stand coolidge, her assistant, and her eurotrash boyfriend or whatever you would call them. the murder plot was too much.
cam/daphne and the other couple were definitely better than daddario and her husband though. daddario is only good for her tits. she's a zero when it comes to comedy and acting.

Season 1 was more comedy vibes, and Season 2 was more serious. I like them both equally but differently.
I agree Jennifer Coolidge is one of the most annoying people on television.

Having said that...not sure I have a favorite on the seasons. Both great. But that boat scene in the finale might be the GOAT scene, culminating with her fall off the boat.
