You pretty much nailed it. Starman is a treasure of a film and performance. The only change I would make is putting Crazy Heart in place of Baker Boys.

No Arlington Road mentions yet? One of the biggest 'wtf just happened' endings in the vein of 7even and Primal Fear, but even more so imo. Tremendous movie and acting job.

The Dude - of course
Last Picture Show - perhaps the best small town film ever
Vanishing - suspenseful and the first time i ever saw Sandra Bullock
Fearless - Peter Weir films are all classics
Tucker - people knock this film but i really enjoyed it

Does Iron Man count?

The Big Lebowski obviously stands on its own as “The” Jeff Bridges movie.

Picking four more, well, that’s just like your opinion man.

He is one of my favorite actors. Dude can play a lot of parts

One movie that no one will mention but I loved is "Door in the Floor"

That was a very solid performance and a great movie.

Don't have a list, but I wish I could've been a fly on the wall at the restaurant when Glenn Frey confronted Bridges about the scene in TBL where the Dude pleads for the African cab driver to change the radio from the Eagles.

He may be dead, but GF was a punk.

I’m going to throw one of left field and say Mirror Has Two Faces.

I can’t stand Barbara Streisand, but Greg’s realization of human connection being more than logical is a nice story that still resonates.

It’s not my favorite but most of his other ones have been mentioned.

I’ll also throw out Arlington Road.
