I saw where a few of you have been to the Gorge. What airport was the most convenient?

Seattle is probably the easiest / cheapest. It's like a 2-2.5 hour drive to the gorge, but it is a really pretty drive. Have fun! I went last year and in 2008. Best music fest that I have ever been to.

Yeah it was referring me to Pasco/ Tri Cities aiport which was about 100 bucks more. I think im going to stay at Vantage resorts in Vantage. Its about 12 miles from the Gorge. Looks like its surrounded by state parks. has to be nice right?

Thanks for the recommendation

I can't speak on the other airport. I think it is about the same distance from The Gorge.

I haven't heard of Vantage resorts. I am sure it is ok. We camped at the site the first time we went then we stayed at a hotel the second time. I enjoyed the hotel a lot more.

Seattle. It's not that far of a drive (couple hours, maybe) We drove back to Seattle after the show when we went, and that was kinda crappy, going over the pass in the rain at 1 AM

we rented a car. We went to Seattle in 2009 when LSU played up there. We rented the car because we went down to Mt St Helens, then went up to Anacortes, around Seattle and out to Issaquah, then out to the Gorge.

I couldnt tell you the cost, I have no idea.

I know it was a Toyota Yaris and I had white knuckles trying to get that little bastard back over the pass that night

If you are staying at a hotel you will have to rent a car. I don't think there are shuttles from Seattle to the festival. You could look into it.

I would just rent a car. Use hotwire for a good price.

You will probably have to take a commuter flight from Spokane or Seattle to land in Pasco, my younger brother lives there.

Just fly into Seattle or Spokane and drive.
