I’m going with The Good Life off of their Pinkerton album.

El Scorcho
“Goddamn you half-Japanese girls
Do it to me every time
Oh, the redhead said you shred the cello
And I'm jello, baby”

Across the Sea is the correct answer. He was so terrified/embarrassed after writing and releasing that song, he immediately went to the Island in the Sun/Beverly Hills/Pork and Beans types of songs with no substance and hasn’t looked back since.

Teenage Dirtbag
But seriously, El Scorcho.

El Scorcho is certainly the greatest.
But I think some recent ones have been crazily Rivers - All My Favorite Songs is one that comes to mind.

So you haven’t listened to anything new in 15 years? The white album is my favorite of their releases in the last few years. Check it out.

I try to give them all a shot…I know for a fact I’ve got a nostalgia issue with them. Pinkerton might be my all time favorite album, Blue is in the top 10. I like Green and Maladroit…but man, everything after that is such a chore, it legit kinda gets me sad listening to them. I’m usually one and done with their stuff after that. I’ll admit, I didn’t HATE White, but I really haven’t felt a pull to go back to it. And I haven’t listened to one thing off of their SZN albums. I haven’t heard anything positive about those…I think it might be best to just leave those be.

"American Girls" by Homie (his one song supergroup with members of Cake & Soul Coughing)
"Pink Triangle" if it has to be Weezer
and finally "Stupid Girl" by Cold (which was co-written by Rivers)

The SZNZ albums are pretty boring. He comes off as trying too hard to be edgy and stay relevant. It’s a shame because the prior two albums, Ban Weezer and Ok Human were good to very good.
