No he’s not. But I’m sure we’ll get the top pick and espn will push that narrative like it’s a thing

I really don’t want Ace Bailey.
Flagg
Harper
And either one of those foreign dudes from Illinois, BYU or the athletic Baylor kid.

No he’s not. You don’t skip your senior year of high school to just spend multiple years in college. It’s the same shite with Zion. He just loves duke.

All he’s saying is he’s really enjoying his experience. You know what else he’s going to enjoy? Going through the pre draft process and getting paid.

Ideally Flagg.
Harper is the number 2 and fits a huge need but I really think we need a foreign guy or a dude who isn’t going to be the typical nba douche. Don’t know enough about Harper to know his personality.

If someone like Washington gets the top pick I could see it. Coming here he wouldn’t have much pressure to show out right away and will be able to “Organically grow into a superb human being” or something like that.
Either way, we would be perfect for him

He’s scared of injury and he saw the Pels had a possibility of the top pick. Can’t say I blame him

Am I crazy or is Flagg basically on the same path as Zion? Internet-famous high school player, treated like a god at Duke, consensus top 3 pick...
Why is there a belief that he won't pull the same shite as Zion and come here and half-arse it?

You don’t know but you still gamble on potential like every other pick. Making your decision based off ptsd on who you picked in the past is not smart

Honestly makes a lot of sense why a kid like that would want to stay in college but I really doubt it for business sake. Zion was saying similar things.

Not arguing with you there..
Who in this draft would you say is the Ja Morant?

Like the small school second year guy? I actually don’t think there’s anyone like him in this class. From an origins perspective or a similar archetype either. At least not in the in lottery. I’ve only been paying attention to lottery projected players tho.

Boogie Fland is the closest but he's going to need another year of developement.

I actually think it would be a great idea for him to stay. He going to make 5M+ a year to play at Duke, make huge connections, be the star of the sport at a place that adores basketball. He'll play less than half the games and have very little pressure. Put all that up against going to the Wiz and having to try to carry a horrible franchise against grown men. I'd stay all four years and build a legacy..

Cooper is not 290 pounds, does not have a stepfather, and has more in his arsenal than jumping high and making left handed layups. I also am going to assume that he doesn’t have an anime porn addiction that he will try to live out in real time with retired adult stars and mildly reformed strippers. So we should be fine.

Why is the fact that he has a step father bothersome? Not everyone is lucky enough to have a father that sticks around. Stepfather is probably a great dude for stepping in and providing a father figure for little Zion.

quote:Yo yo word to the mother with boys like you are funny as frick, you know all the NBA players, prolly know all the rap songs, “hey guys i have black friends” typa deal, only to spew stupid shite behind closed doors. What does a step dad have to do with anything? lol ??

I actually don’t mind his stepfather from a father figure standpoint. However, the Stepfather and Zion have always had a different vision than the Pels when it comes to Zion’s training, rehab and conditioning. This is pretty well documented.
