Make sense given this draft didn’t have a lot of high ceiling, elite prospects.

But there’s a lot of age, games played, starts in this draft class so far.

Honestly, to set the foundation of this team, it's a good way to start. Progress isn't going to be linear, and people generally feel good about their team right now, but i find it promising that over the last two seasons, the Saints haven't taken many gambles.

I agree, I think their 2024 class is going to be sneaky good.

To get to average in the NFL, you just have have have more picks and less misses. That reduces the team's cap number on it's own. Now if they can stop handing out shite contracts and get a really good QB, they can be a consistent playoff team again.
