The Dennis Allen comments tells me a coach that feels his seat is flaming hot.

Blaming players on day 1 is not a good look.

J Will and no one else

We are in kinda bad shape at RB, and they foolishly relied on Kendre who can't string 2 days without being hurt

While I agree that DA sucks, him actually making a statement to the media and not just regurgitating nonsense coach speak is a step in the right direction. Last year he would have said something like "Injuries are a part of the game and we will see what the doctors say about his recovery."

bullshite. If he was a good coach the same statement is called lighting a fire under a young guy.
It's even more bullshite when this board never hesitates to bitch about players being hurt all the time. There's a fricking thread on here about Davenport being hurt in training camp of his second team since he's left here.

Miller was such an awful pick. Could have had Tajae Spears who was all around a better back/fit with what we wanted.

Miller is dogshit

DA is just not a head coach and I think most know that.

good coach

Good coaches have the respect of their locker room.

Yal forgot last year Dennis Allen lost that room by mid-season. Calling out players (while I agree some of them are fricking around too much) while being a shite coach ain't gonna do much for you, period. Truth is, some coaches can do that, Allen isn't one of them and yal know that.

Maybe with a star player that's established in the locker room but Kendre is 2nd yr guy that's played like 4 games. You're letting your feelings for Allen's shittiness outweigh common sense.

I have zero issues with what DA said this time. There should be no reason for a RB to come in on day one have a hamstring issue. This shows he hasn't been working in the offseason to be prepared for training camp. We have James Robinson, who's a guy that rushed for 1000 yards a few seasons ago, Jamaal, Mims, and a rookie. I think we're ok here.

That certainly didn’t take long. Injured in warmups.

DA is understandably frustrated and questioned Miller’s ability to make the team. That is a hollow threat because of the investment we have in him

They better pay Kamara.

I remember the days where this board applauded taking Miller over Spears due to injury concerns.Quick Recap on Miller injuries. Bitched out of National Championship game. Bitched out of half of last season. Currently bitching out of camp. Dude doesn’t love football. He loves what it does for him.Unreliable pos mid running back. Another waste of a pick.

I get the concerns for Miller but Tyjae doesn’t have an ACL in one knee and also has arthritis. Thats a hard pill to swallow- I can’t really blame the Saints on that one.

I wanted them to draft Achane over both Miller and Spears.
