If Rattler gets Nathan Peterman cut then the pick is worth it

Would rather have Haener and Rattler compete and develop than ever see that turd(player not the person) under center for us

They just took heaner last yr in the 4th round

And he kinda sucks. He and freaking Nathan Peterman don't lock down a position group.

Right. He was saying that rattler could maybe push him. My point was heaner sucks and there is a reason they took rattler.

Look at the situation in this light:

Hopefully Rattler turns into a solid back up QB so we can STOP Pissing away good draft picks (Two 4th rd picks in 2 drafts for Ian Book and Haener).

Those 4th round picks could have used to find contributors.
You get to the 5th round and it’s throwing flyer darts at a board !!

Rattler could be the steal of the draft

From the moment we took Koolaid, I was hoping we found a way to trade back up and get Rattler.

What a draft!

At the end of the day, it’s about projection with these guys. Rattler has the arm talent and can throw off platform. He checks a lot of the more difficult boxes, with a few tweak he may be on to something. At worst he’s probably a Sam Howell kinda guy. If he hits his ceiling, he could be a legit starter

- Tyler Huntley
- Spencer Rattler
- Bryce Young

People will hate on Rattler but he has the potential to be the best QB taken in this draft.

I like it. We finally get a guy we can keep for 5 years on a cheap contract who performed in college and was highly rated. He’s athletic, has intangibles and can play the position. He’ll be our starter in a few years and will have a good career.

Its crazy Bryce Young was in every one of these and he looked so bad. The talent is there. I wonder if he takes a leap under the new coach and more talent around him?

If Kubiak and Shanahan can get to a Super Bowl with Brock Purdy, I think Rattler can be turned into a player. But I think Shanahan is far and away the best coach in the NFL.

Except he just loses superbowls. Hes a good coach but Big Red (Andy Reid) is better.

The throw he makes at the 3 minute mark in this video is absurd! Dude has a rifle, if nothing else.
