Saints will pass on Shedeur in 2nd Round (if still there) for one major reason.

Shedeur and Deion are outspoken and Gayle/Mickey won't risk any massive upside to any slight chance that they have to hear criticism about anything in the organization from Shedeur/Deion.

Same Organization that tried to strong arm local media outlets to not say anything negative about the Church's sexual assault.

They know that Shedeur/Deion have a national audience and while he could be entertaining for Fans and more productive than anyone else on the roster: Gayle, Mickey, and Dennis' egos come first.

I think most teams that need a qb simply don’t think he’s good enough to be married to and there will likely be better options both on field and in terms of being a pain in the arse from a familial/media perspective in the next year or so.

The last thing you want is for him to be meh to slightly about meh and then have to draft someone better next year but feeling like you need to give it a shot for another year or two with the ceiling remaining low.

Feel the exact same way about Dart. They may eventually turn into average starter level QBs but is anyone excited to get a poor man’s teddy Bridgewater?

I think Sanders goes to the Browns at 33 or 36, but id take him if he’s there at 40.

Nobody wants the circus atmosphere that comes with Deion and Shedeur

Shedeur has upside, but he just isn't as good as the media wants him to be. We see it every year, there's a QB that just isn't that good that the media just loves. Remember Jimmy Claussen?

Money. Shedeur at #9 is way more than a humbled Shedeur at #40

LT is less expensive @ # 9 than a QB @ # 9

This thought is flawed because 31 other teams didn’t want Sanders. He’s really not that good. Just slightly better than average.

Yeah that is so not what happened. There is enough to hate about this front office without making up extra shite.

Not really, they're slotted to the draft picks coming out, as far as I remember.

You very likely get a lot more out of an offensive lineman early, so you get better initial return of investment.

Did you read the letter that was sent from Greg Bensel? It was exactly what happened.

You want access for your outlets to cover the Saints and Pelicans? Tread carefully on how you cover the church story.
