One suit jacket, one suit pair of pants, dry cleaning bill with tax was just over $15. Also, must be pre-paid.

Is this normal life in 2025?

I don’t know if it’s outrageous but it’s definitely high.

That’s on the low end here in Houston.

Might be cheaper to throw the dirty suit away and buy a new one at Goodwill.

Sounds low/ fine to me, but the pre-paid aspect is weird.

ETA: Just saw you're in New Orleans. I recommend Liberto's on Willow. Honestly I don't know how much they charge for a suit, but I'm always surprised how inexpensive it is when I pick up.

If you are coming from Houston, I can feel you. We were shocked to see how high dry cleaning was in La after moving from the Houston area.

I used to get sport coats at the Dillards clearance store at Cortana for $10.

It is for shirts or pants. A jacket is probably $6-8. $15 sounds a little high, but not far off.

This seems very reasonable and on the cheap side. I just paid $55 for a dress dry cleaning the other day for my wife.

I dropped off 16 dress shirts recently - $80 plus tax = $5/shirt - ridiculous.
