Let that happen to my 21/22 year old son, and that charter captain is going to have me knocking on his door to have a conversation.
Your grown son needs daddy to go talk to someone that was mean to him? ouch
That's kind of where I am. The 22 year old did what he could to deescalate the situation and was rightfully fearful when that maniac jumped aboard his vessel, but I feel like we wouldn't be having this "kid" talk if he was Malik Nabers (21) or Paul Skenes (22).

If your grown arse son is that big of a pussy to need his daddy to go handle the situation, you may need to be concerned.
This wasn’t a “kid” he is a 22 year old man that was talking plenty of shite himself. Does that excuse the charter captain’s actions? Absolutely not, but don’t pretend this kid was just minding his own business as an innocent bystander.

he was by the bridge fishing alone with nobody around and that fricktard rolled up screaming at him. frick off. he told the dude at the first threat of confrontation he's there to fish and frick off.

He never denies speeding through the bridge where the law requires you slow down regardless of whether boats are present.
Every veteran I know would never throw that out in that a manner. He may have been a ranger but I truly doubt anything outside of him fleecing taxpayers for disability when he can operate a full time business where he is on his feet all day. Elon needs to open a file on this guy..

that was talking plenty of shite himself
if he was that passionate about water safety, he should have educated the boater without lights on at the time it occurred... but he couldn't because he was speeding under the bridge like the a-hole he is

Kid was talking just as much shite and he pussed out as things escalated. He shouldn’t have been talking so much shite if he was that big of a wimp

Entertaining statement from his lawyer:
https://www.wfla.com/news/florida/who-is-brock-horner-angry-florida-charter-captain-confronts-boater-in-viral-video/
quote:
“As both Brock Horner’s attorney and his friend, I want to address the recent video that has circulated widely online, showing an intense exchange between Brock and a young man named Gage.
First and foremost, Brock sincerely apologizes to Gage, to Gage’s family, and to anyone who was frightened or upset by what they saw. He is deeply sorry. What began as a moment of frustration and concern escalated in a way it simply should not have. Gage handled the situation with impressive composure and class, and that level-headedness helped prevent things from becoming far worse.
Brock is not proud of how he acted. But it’s important to remember: we are not the sum of our worst day. That video captured one moment—not the whole of who he is.
Since the video went viral, Brock’s business has been destroyed, his reputation damaged, and his family — including his wife and mother—have been harassed and even threatened. Some have gone so far as to question his military service and accuse him of stolen valor.
Let me be clear: Brock is a decorated combat veteran who was severely injured in Afghanistan. He served honorably, earned multiple medals, and suffered a traumatic brain injury in combat. He is recognized as 100% disabled by the Department of Veterans Affairs. That’s not an excuse — but it is part of his story. He stood up when this country asked him to, and that service deserves to be respected.
We live in a time when online outrage can quickly spiral into personal destruction. But just as Gage showed grace in the moment, I ask others to do the same now. Let’s hold people accountable — but also give them room to grow and make amends.
Brock is committed to doing exactly that.
Scott Weinberg, Attorney for Captain Brock Horner
Punta Gorda police said they are investigating the incident alongside the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard.
North Port Fire Rescue is also looking into the incident after Fire Chief Scott Titus revealed one of the passengers on the charter captain’s boat was one of his firefighters. He identified the man as “Firefighter Riggs.”

he wasn't talking any shite you dumb mother fricker. he was going over the details of the morning with a screaming low iq piece of fricking shite who was trying to show off how big his nuts were in front of a bunch of dudes that were embarrassed as frick to be on his boat. the dude wouldn't listen to shite, wouldn't share in the apologies of the mornings event when recklessly blasted through the groupings of boat fishing under the bridge. he fricking instantly used his veteran card like it was relevant at all when he was simply a fricking piece of weak shite. he told that dumb mother fricker brock he wasn't the boat with lights off 9 fricking times. horner persisted confrontation like a big ole bully arse bitch. the more the kid backed down, the more horner sensed weakness and then wanted the continued escalation. that is what a fricking bitch does.

This.
I knew there would be some jackasses showing up to somehow defend this captain.
Nevermimd that the boat company, Marina, the other guys in the boat, sponsors, and everyone else has condemned and dissociated themselves from this guy.
They know what’s up.
