Anyone Familiar With Gwen Shamblin Lara & The Weight Down Workshop?

I see its a documentary on HBO Max.
This is her.
Evidently she died in a plane crash in May, but she was the leader of some religious lose weight church/cult. Never heard about her until a few minutes ago when I saw this was new on HBO Max.

Because she was a pretty narcissistic leader of a powerful cult and none of them would dare say anything that wasn't 100% glowing about her.
I actually had a fricked up vacation this summer because the cabin we rented was owned by the cult through a company in her son-in-law's name. We ended up reading all about this clan while staying there and knew they were kind of fricked up, but the documentary took it to another level
If there is a righteous God and a Hell, they must have went straight to it when that plane hit the water.

I moved to Nashville right when the controversy about this hit, and it was on the news every night. I have an acquaintance who was on the weight loss program. She is pretty gullible and thought she was great at first, but quickly realized she was a psycho.
