Arkansas sherrif illegally arrests mom and teenage son

Shane Russell, the sheriff of Sharp County Arkansas, illegally entered the home without a warrant and arrested a mother and son. The reason? A neighbor called and said the mother was revving her car engine...on her own property. The sheriff arrested the son simply because he didn't like his right to remain silent; seriously, that was the reason.
This is why people hate the police. Nothing but ignorant tyrants with no respect for the Constitution or their constituents.

Look I am not a fan at all of LE and especially not of local small town LE that generally doesn't do shite unless they have a personal axe to grind but Idk if this is as bad as its getting presented
Firstly SOMETHING had happened earlier that day and it sounds as if warnings were issued then something else happened and the officers were called back to the house. The son apparently did enough to get put in cuffs and placed in the back of a car earlier so he seemingly would be one of the ones who got the warning
Idk what evidence the officers did or didn't have or what type of behavior exactly was being alleged but if they were there earlier and told this family to cut out the bullshite then it's not very surprising that when bullshite continued that they went to jail
This is the second video I've seen done by this dude and both have rung pretty hollow with me. The guy claims to strip away spin and biases but to me it's what he constantly spews. Yes the door was chained but the woman willingly unchained it. I'm no law enforcement expert but I'm pretty sure it doesn't require a warrant for them to arrest her when she willingly walked out on her porch. I'm also pretty sure that they could've arrested her even if she didn't walk out on the porch. They didn't appear to search her house or anything. Arresting someone doesn't require a warrant
Finally I'll say that this family seemed.....less than impressive which leads me to doubt their side of events. And give me a break on the hysterics of the 19 year old saying she can't take care of an old person or a kid. You are 19 fricking years old it's not that complicated and not for the rest of your life. Begging the cops to be gentle with the one woman when they were being as gentle as I've ever seen cops be with someone. Their whole reaction just screams they were trying to trump up some drama. I'm guessing also this isn't the first time thay department has had to deal with this family

You are inserting facts not in evidence.
You certainly sound like a bootlicker with your "whale they musta done sumthin' rawng tuh be ayrested!" logic.
Cops have been arresting people for nothing more than hurt feelings for decades. And it's not the first time this sheriff has been in trouble.
John Bryan has over 800,000 subscribers, millions of views, and has made quite an impact in holding law enforcement and government accountable. That's in addition to his profession and experience with the Constitution. He's not some moron with just a YouTube account.

"I have no clue what happened before this but it HAD to be something so I'm siding with the cops here even though I have no idea what happened."
fricking wild.

I mean yea I'm assuming there is more to the story since we hear in the video there was an earlier encounter that day that isn't really elaborating on. I don't think we can cast judgement on the entire situation from just what one video shows

True but doesn't mean anything for this situation

I know nothing about him. If he's a POS then he should be treated like one

I'll have to take some time to look into him, as I said I've only seen 2 videos

I didn't side with anybody I just said I'm not sure I agree with the conclusion reached by the guy in the video or with posters here.
You are apparently siding against the cops but you don't have a clue what happened before either so

I love the cowards on this board. Downvoting but they won't come on and express their undying support for these tyrants. This is the same state that had a cop pull a pit maneuver on a pregnant woman. Mind you she had her hazard lights on, had slowed down considerably, and was waiting to pull over in a safe location. Something all drivers are told to do if they don't feel safe pulling over immediately. But the dumb hick cop just couldn't abide by that. So he decides that potentially killing her and the unborn child is appropriate.

There had to have been more to that story. /sarcasm

I have no personal knowledge of this county, but I'm willing to bet it would be among the top of the list if you were going somewhere to find a stupid redneck cop.
